Who we are

VetTechPass (vettechpass.online) is an online exam preparation service for veterinary technician candidates. Contact us at team@vettechpass.online.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
  • Study data: your answers, scores, study plan, exam date and messages you send to the AI tutor.
  • Purchase data: order status and amount. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Creem; we never receive your full card details.
  • Usage and attribution data: pages viewed, the link or website that brought you here (for example UTM parameters and referrer), approximate country, browser type, and a random visitor ID stored in a first-party cookie.

How we use it

To provide and improve the service, personalize your study plan, send you the results and emails you ask for, process purchases, prevent abuse, and understand which of our marketing channels work. We do not sell your personal information.

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google we receive only your name, email address and profile picture (scopes openid, email, profile). We use them only to create and secure your account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

AI tutor

Tutor messages are processed by Google Vertex AI (Gemini models) to generate explanations. We do not use your messages to train our own models.

Service providers

Cloudflare (hosting, database, email), Creem (payments), Google Cloud (AI and sign-in) and Axiom (logs and analytics). They process data only on our behalf.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for sign-in, to remember your visitor ID, and to remember which link brought you here. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Retention and your rights

We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days after you ask. Raw analytics events are kept for about 30 days; aggregated statistics are kept longer. You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data by emailing us.

Children

The service is intended for adults preparing for a professional exam and is not directed to children under 16.
